Pete is the Lead IQA of ADJUTUS TRAINING and has a wealth of knowledge in education across multi-disciplines.

Starting in 1995, Pete was unfortunately and due to unforeseen circumstances, left on his own in Khufra (North Africa) and had to learn to speak, read, and write Arabic very quickly. This resulted in ultimately delivering ad-hoc training to the Libyan military electronic warfare group.

On finally returning to the UK, Pete has continued to develop his skills of training within the Utilities, Confined Space, Working at Height, IRATA, Specialist rescue, Construction, and Public Services.

Pete has worked on many educational projects both in the UK and overseas, teaching in schools on Gun and Knife educational campaigns, leading a team within the 'Princes Trust' and supporting young people to 'find their voice'.

Educating both the UK and French governments on a counter-terrorist project, with awards offered from both, Pete joined the public services, supporting front line training, AFO, and finalising in Special Branch.

Pete found, teaching in the adult sector so rewarding, finding new and innovative ways to create meaning from learners' own working environments, he now works in adult education full time, with a particular interest in teaching adult learners who believe they cant learn or feel they are just too old to learn.

When Pete semi-retired, he created a business that grew far quicker than anticipated. After three years he sold this company and then created a second business that combined both commercial drainage clearance along with training and development of staff within those specific sectors.

Pete works within the Confined Space Industry, along with quality assurance, and professional development at Adjutus Training.

With an aspiration for developing utilities, confined space, construction, working at height, and emergency services retiring or career transitioning personnel across the UK and supporting businesses with their training staff to provide greater efficacy in education for adult learners.

Petes signature vocational skills are developing courses, both online, blended (Moodle), classroom-based, teaching, business studies, teacher/ trainer mentoring, professional development, and management.

Pete has many great stories from across the globe and thoroughly enjoys, long-distance walking, potholing, meeting people who have a passion for education, and of course his pets.
